My family has had a wonderful experience with South High Senior  Assisted Living. The staff truly cares for the residents as if they were members of their own family. You can tell that everything they do is focused on the residents and their well-being, not just running a business. My dad genuinely enjoys his time there and has built great relationships.  From the moment you walk through the doors, the community feels warm, welcoming, and homey rather than institutional. The improvement in my dad's health and overall happiness over the past year has been incredible, and we are so grateful for the compassionate care he receives every day. With my heartfelt gratitude, I highly recommend South High Senior Living. They cared for my 94yo mother in memory care, for her last 5 months. The facility is always clean, has very good food, and takes really good care of its residents. While living there, mom presented with a variety of challenges. The staff,  every one of them, was supportive, respectful, and loving. They were dedicated and creative with ways to help reduce mom's fears. I am so grateful for South High Senior Living. My mom moved here 8 months ago. She moved here from Kentucky.The decision to move to assisted living was sudden and we have had to navigate a lot of life changes and the staff at South High have made this pleasurable for both of us. I am not responsible for her daily caregiving and we can have quality time together. I visit frequently and have made friends with the residents and staff. They  have made my mom and I feel at home and part of a community of kindness and care. April and Megan are wonderful activities directors and mom looks at the schedule often to see what fun activity is next. I truly feel the people that work there truly love what they do. Marchell is an exceptional ED who genuinely cares about the residents and ensures they are treated with dignity, compassion, and respect. Courtney is always willing to answer any questions and does so with kindness and a welcoming attitude, which truly makes a difference for both residents and families. The activities program has been wonderful lately. There is always something fun, engaging, and creative happening, and it’s clear how much thought and effort goes into making sure residents stay active, involved, and happy. From hands-on crafts to interactive games and special events, the activities bring so much joy and excitement, and I truly enjoy seeing the posts that capture these meaningful moments. April is always smiling and brings such positive energy to the community, and Megan is incredibly sweet and caring with the residents. The captain of a ship is very important because everything trickles down from the top. Executive Director Marshall truly cares. He is a great human and empathetic listener. I have so much respect for him. Resident Care Director Stephanie jumps through hoops for me. She even drove to our rehab for an evaluation after completing an all night shift. Always pleasant. Anytime I have a question or request, Stephanie replies immediately, all day and all night. She also truly cares. Business Office Director Courtney is always on top of her game regarding the long term care insurance company. Then, the aides…..oh, the aides.  I cannot say enough about Ann, Raquel and Aracelya. Overall, this facility is compassionate and caring. There have been some concerns and they were addressed immediately. I wish all customer service was like this! So many activities and special treats. Residents do not get bored - check out their Facebook Page!

A Welcoming and Caring Home After extensive searching, we chose South Senior Assisted Living for my father, and it has been a wonderful experience. From the very first tour to our many visits since, the staff and environment have always gone above and beyond. This facility is more than just a place to live; it truly feels like a family environment. As for the  staff all I can say is “WOW” everyone there is amazing and always ready to drop what they are doing to help, not just my dad but any other tenant staying there as well as visitors. I could go on about everyone working there but I would need a list of everyone that works there. But I would like to say a very big Thank You to Stephani and Lynn, these ladies are nothing but amazing. The facility itself is always immaculate and feels very comfortable and homey. The common areas are bright and inviting, and there are many cozy spots for residents and their families to spend time together. We especially appreciate the variety of amenities available, which includes beautiful outdoor spaces where residents can enjoy the fresh air. Beyond the care, one of the biggest benefits has been the social life. South Senior Assisted Living offers a great schedule of activities that keeps residents engaged and happy. My has made so many friends, which made a huge difference in his overall happiness. As you may have picked up on, my dad has since passed, but the entire team at South Senior Assisted Living made the last year and a half   mazing. And I and my sister love everyone there from the tenants to the entire staff. Words can never say Thank You enough. If you have a loved one closing in on needing additional care and help, this would be my recommendation as a first call and tour of the facility and you may find you have found them a home as well.
