  Had the pleasure of meeting with Lynn today !!! And what an absolute honor it was to take a tour of South High !!! The second you enter the building you are greeted by someone that makes.   Changes are hard for everyone, especially transitioning from independent living to living with assistance. When looking for the perfect place for our Nana, it was hard to find a place that could meet all of her needs and expectations as well as ours.  We are so blessed to have found South High Senior Living! The experience starts the minute you walk in the first door. It feels nothing like any assisted living home I have ever been in.
It's the sensation of walking into a world of pampering, like a luxurious hotel but with the feeling of home. The staff is amazing, from the sweet smiles at the front desk, to the night ninjas who do laundry every night. The amazing cooking staff make the dining experience so great that Nana wants to eat there instead of going out!  What makes it extra special is that the days are filled from morning to evening with activities by Ms. Tina!  They can pick and choose what to do but everyone is included and made to feel special and loved. The environment is beautiful, and the rooms are gorgeous, and Nana feels at peace.  She told us last week for the first time she doesn't have a worry in the world! As a family, I can say we also feel that our worries are gone. We all feel good knowing she is in great hands with a staff who love and treat her like family.  Thank you to our new South High family for taking care of us and making us feel right at home!

  Our family toured more than 8 assisted living facilities in Knoxville. We rated South High one of the best. South High is close to her friends and family members and feels like a 5-star hotel. All the staff members are kind, knowledgeable, responsive, communicate well with our family. They're attentive to the residents, as needed (some require more assistance - others not as much). The food is great and the dining experience feels much like a restaurant. With a little notice, family & friends can join a resident for any meal. We have visited at all hours of the day and night (and were encouraged to visit anytime) and we're confident she is in safe place. It's a newer facility and always super-clean. Amenities include housekeeping, laundry service, and daily activities (both inside and outside, to include movie nights, ice cream, shopping trips, and more). I would highly recommend South High to anyone looking for a safe long-term solution.

  My loved one has been at South High for almost a year. In that time, she has been well taken care of by the caregivers. The staff is attentive to her needs and they always address any concerns I may have. The food is very good and there’s always activities my mother looks forward to.

  My friend has been at South High Senior Living for 3 years and loves it there.  She is in the memory care unit and I cannot say enough about the wonderful staff there.  They have entertainment and outings that she attends whenever she can

  We were impressed from the first step inside. I was relieved to see a locking controlled foyer with immediate access to the concierge. The interior design is beautiful, reminding me of a 5 star hotel lobby. The high ceilings give all areas such wonderful lighting and space. The dining area and piano bar are spacious and charming, yet surprisingly cozy. Her room/apartment is spacious and ready to personalize with her furniture and treasures . All areas easily accessed by walker or wheelchair. The staff is friendly, helpful and competent. I highly recommend!
P.s. she also loves all the activities.

South High was such a blessing to my family! We are forever grateful to the amazing staff at South High for making the process so easy and being a friend and advisor along the way. I can’t say enough wonderful things about their food, activities, memory care program, etc. My mom loves it there and I know she is in the BEST hands!

This is how assisted living and memory care should be

My mother has been with South High since they opened. My mom has thrived here because they have excellent, trained staff. The [community] is clean and they always keep me updated. They have taken such good care of my mom and they treat her like family. After having my mom in two different memory care [communities] prior to this, I highly recommend South High. They are different than other assisted living/ memory care [communities], because they allow the residents to feel at home. This is how assisted living and memory care should be.

You can tell how much the staff really cares

The building is so beautiful, but the staff is even more beautiful. Their hearts are in it for the right reasons. You can tell how much they really care about the residents. They are always available to talk and listen to me. They have been the greatest blessing to our family! I highly recommend South High!

I sleep easy at night knowing Mom is under their care

When Mom checked into her new home, multiple staff members came to greet her and her family, and offer assistance helping her check in. The staff welcomed her with a touching ribbon cutting ceremony. Anytime I needed to communicate with staff regarding Mom’s care, my emails and calls were promptly returned. I sleep easy at night knowing Mom is under their care. The staff believes in a teamwork approach to patient care. This [community] has been a God-send ... South High has truly redefined the idea of assisted living ...
